Scope: 125,000 SF building with gymnasium, cafeteria, classrooms, science lab, track, and tennis courts. Forbes Middle School was formally dedicated on Sunday, August 12, 2001. It officially opened on Thursday, August 16th to over 400 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. The first day of school went off without a hitch and teachers, parents and students alike were excited to be part of Georgetown Independent School District's newest middle school.
